Are you looking for an inspiring place for a meetup, have a effective teambuilding session or a monthly company meeting? Our meeting venue "De Brandmeester" (The Firemaster) in Leiden is situated in a historical building in the city centre of Leiden. The building was used for drying firehoses and training firemen. In 2016 the building was transformed by architect and owner Jelle Verheijen and his wife Alice Clijncke. Today we rent out the garden room for meetings. The modern extension (30m²) has all kinds of facilities such as floor heating, good acoustics, thermal insulated glass and ventilation, but is above all a place to meet up in a comfortable environment, so that you have time for each other.

In De Brandmeester you can make use of our super fast WiFi network (600/70 Mbit/s) at your convenience. A full HD screen for presentations and/or a flipover is also available.

Our "make yourself at home" rule applies. Before the meeting we'll put cans of hot teawater, cold water and sweet savories in the room. In our pantry kitchen you'll find a Jura Barista for fresh coffee, cappuccino,espresso or a flat white. This is a selfservice, but what a great way to start the day!

We find it important to support local entrepreneurs and caterers. They offer a wide range of lunches. We'll provide you with information, so you can order your lunch. We'll provide the necessary plates, cutlery and we have a dishwasher to do the dishes.

Rates

nice to know:
There are no hidden costs. You don't pay any extra for the use of a presentation screen, wifi or flipover. Coffee, tea, cold water, chocolates & cookies are always included in the offer.

basic option:
You make use of our meeting room with a groupsize of maximum 8 for €75,- an hour (excl. 21% BTW/VAT) with a minimum of 2 hours. HD presentationscreen and flipover are available with no extra costs. Need anything special, just inform about the possibilities. Do you want to rent the venue for a whole day? We'll make you a special offer!

plus option:
You make use of our meeting room for a 2 hour meeting session, suited for a maximum groupsize of 10 persons for €225,- (excl. 21% BTW/VAT). HD presentationscreen and flipover are available with no extra costs. Need anything special, just inform about the possibilities.

specials:
Let us know what specials you have in mind. The boardroom table offers a seating of 10, but the boardroom table can also be set aside.

summer break 2024:
Our meetingvenue is closed in the summer, starting half of July till the 2nd of September.

Make it a special day

Get acquainted with Leiden and visit the city centre after your meeting or teambuilding session. In the direct vicinity of De Brandmeester you'll find several historical sites, a botanical garden and a 6 km Singelpark around the city centre, or trending restaurants and pubs. Or check out a museum in Leiden, we've got several of them!

Parkeren

New! There is a brand new parking facility, just 5 minutes from our meeting venue. Parkeergarage Garenmarkt is open from 7:00 AM - 2:00 AM. Are you planning to stay in Leiden the whole day or longer? Use the P+R Transferium Haagweg. They offer a free cityshuttle. They'll drop you off at the Breestraat, at the beginning of the Plaatsteeg. We're at Plaatsteeg 20.

The rental of this meeting venue also contributes to the conservation of this unique part of our heritage in Leiden.
